FORT SUMNER — The De Baca County Cooperative Extension Service will host a free cattle seminar, “Let’s Talk Mineral,” March 20 at the Extension office.
Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the seminar begins at 5:30.
The event will include general information on mineral supplements for cattle, including balancing a mineral program based off of a local forage analysis, and mineral absorption.
Three continuing education units for the Beef Quality Assurance certification will be available to those attending.
A meal will be served. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to 575-355-2381.
