Information on creating party themes, making custom cuff bracelets and making fun greeting cards for any occasion will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and noon Thursday (all times Mountain).
Susan Legits, independent demonstrator with Stampin’ Up, will start with a black and white party décor and use it as is or add a pop of color to create another party theme. She’ll show how to change elements to transform a basic design into a party theme for every occasion. Legits lives in Albuquerque.
Marisa Pawelko is a licensed designer for Sizzix, and she’ll show how to create easy and fun custom cuff bracelets using the shape cutters from her collection. She’ll also show a wide variety of materials including Rowlux and adhesive rhinestone sheets by The Buckle Boutique. Pawelko lives in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Designer, Jen Fox will show how to use fabric scraps to make simple, fun greeting cards for any occasion. Fox’s company is Jen Fox Studios in Albuquerque.
Information on products to help relieve stress, making Victorian posies, and recipes for breakfast will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” noon Tuesday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
Laura Dellutri is a lifestyle expert with Healthy Housekeeper, Inc., and she’s going to show some new products on the market that just might make your life more stress free. These include a Shiatsu pillow, a foot bath, a sound spa, and a single-serving coffeemaker — just to name a few. She lives in Overland Park, Kansas.
Casey Schwartz is a floral designer and co-owner of Flower Duet, and she’s going to show how to make a tussie-mussie or what is sometimes referred to as Victorian posies. Victorians believed flowers had special meanings, so the idea is to select flowers to convey your special message to someone. Schwartz is from Redondo Beach, California.
Power Up! What makes breakfast the best meal of the day? Registered dietitian and author, Pat Baird is going to answer this question, and discuss the use of MyPlate in determining what to eat at every meal. She represents National Got Milk Campaign and lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Creamy banana walnut oatmeal
1 cup 1% milk
2 packets instant oatmeal
1/2 ripe banana, mashed
1/2 tbsp. chopped walnuts
In a small bowl, combine milk and oatmeal. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes until steaming hot, but not boiling. Add mashed banana and mix until creamy. Garnish with walnuts.
