SANTA FE — New Mexico health officials on Monday announced 18 additional positive tests for COVID-19. That brings the total to 83.
None of the positive cases are in Curry, De Baca, Quay or Roosevelt counties.
No deaths have been attributed to the virus in New Mexico.
The Texas Panhandle also announced more positive tests on Monday.
Combined, Castro, Deaf Smith, Hockley, Lubbock, Oldham and Potter counties have reported 11 positive tests, up from nine on Sunday. Hockley County — the Levelland area — has the most with three.
Lea County is the closest to the Clovis-Portales area with a positive test in New Mexico; it had one as of Monday.
