Two more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Curry County, health officials announced on Wednesday.
That brings the county total to five. Officials have provided little information about the patients, but Plains Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Amanda Schoenberg said none are hospitalized in Clovis.
The state announced 48 additional positive tests on Wednesday, bringing the total to 363.
Six New Mexico residents have died of the virus, including a Sandoval County female in her 90s, announced on Wednesday, who had underlying medical conditions.
No one has died from COVID-19 in eastern New Mexico.
A news release from the governor's office on Wednesday reported 31 individuals are hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. The release said 26 patients have recovered from the virus.
