Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
CLOVIS — Curry County has received an $8,500 New Mexico Clean and Beautiful grant from the state tourism department, according to a county release.
The grant program is intended to help partners keep the state a clean and beautiful place to live.
The county plans to use the NMCB funds to plant trees at the Ranchvale Fire Department and fund various litter cleaning efforts throughout the county.
“These projects will enhance our facilities and impact Curry County residents and our community,” Curry County Manager Lance Pyle said in the release. “We look forward to starting these projects later this year.”
