Events planned for special session wrapup

CLOVIS — A pair of events are planned for the next week to wrap up the recent special session of the New Mexico Legislature.

On Thursday, the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce will hold a legislative breakfast.

The breakfast is set for 7:30 a.m. at K-Bob’s Steakhouse and will be followed by the 8 a.m. program.

The event will also be streamed via Zoom.

On Tuesday, the Eastern Plains Council of Governments will hold a 10 a.m. legislator forum via Zoom. New Mexico Workforce Solutions Cabinet Secretary Bill McCamely will be a guest, and confirmed legislators as of Tuesday were Sen. Pat Woods and Reps. Jack Chatfield and Martin Zamora.
