Officials seek family input

CLOVIS — Officials with Clovis Municipal Schools are seeking family input for reopening plans in the fall.

A survey is available at

Separate surveys for families of students in grades K-5 and grades 6-12 will obtain data and input for planning purposes and to share findings of a survey conducted earlier in the summer.

Participants are asked to respond to the survey once for each child in the household who will be enrolled at the respective campus in the 2020-21 school year.

Submission deadline is July 15 for the K-5 surveys and July 20 for the 6-12 surveys.

Cheerleading tryouts next month

CLOVIS — Cheerleading tryouts are scheduled for next month, according to a Clovis Municipal Schools news release.

All tryouts will be held at the Clovis High School main and north gyms, with tryouts 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 4-5 and 1 p.m. Aug. 6.

Tryouts will take place on an appointment basis, and candidates must have physicals and forms completed on Skyward. Physicals from the 2019-20 school year will be accepted.
