ENMU has 140 on LSC honor roll

PORTALES — Eastern New Mexico University had 140 student-athletes represented on the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester, according to a school release.

The honor roll includes student-athletes who were on an athletic team roster and achieved a grade-point average of at least 3.3.

Of the ENMU athletes, 35 achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs — including seven in football, six in women’s soccer, five in softball and four each in baseball and men’s soccer.

The conference included 2,667 student-athletes on the honor roll, led by St. Edward’s with 200. A total of 931 of those student-athletes achieved 4.0 GPAs, with St. Edward’s again tops at 76.

The LSC’s top programs for 4.0 GPAs were women’s soccer (95), volleyball (86) and women’s basketball (83).
