1970: Clovis High School Senior Mary Ann Villa had been named the school's student of the week.
Villa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Villa, had received the school's Spanish award and was a Girls State delegate.
She was a member of the National Honor Society and listed her hobbies as reading and “just goofing off.”
She was a member of the Speech Club and The Thespians.
