Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
CLOVIS — Clovis High School is putting on a food drive through Nov. 20 to benefit the Salvation Army.
A drop box will be located in front of the high school’s main building on Thornton Street daily between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., with the exception of this Wednesday.
“This pandemic has left many families in bad situations,” CHS football coach Cal Fullerton said, “and we want to do our part to help the Salvation Army provide food to these families.”
All non-perishable food items, Fullerton said, would go to the local Salvation Army. Particular foods recommended included canned goods, peanut butter, cereal, pasta and rice.
