PORTALES — Eastern New Mexico University has brought on a new sports information director, according to a release from the athletic department.
Nicolle Holcomb, who will start immediately, previously served as the assistant SID at Guifford College in Greensboro, North Carolina.
“I want to thank everyone involved on the search committee for this opportunity,” Holcomb said in a school release. “I am excited to start at Eastern New Mexico as the sports information director and look forward to promoting the success of ENMU student-athletes and programs.”
The New York native has also served at Colgate University in New York, The College of New Jersey and Endicott College in Massachusetts. She holds a master’s degree in athletic administration from Endicott and a bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY-Oneonta.
Holcomb will be the first female in the position since Judy Willson, who left the position in 1998.
