Clovis' hybrid learning begins Feb. 16

Middle and high school students in Clovis’ public schools can return to hybrid learning mode on Feb. 16.

Clovis Municipal Schools officials made the announcement Tuesday morning.

A news release stated:

“In advance of the start date, students in 6th and 10th grades will attend in-person during the week of February 8 - 12 for Transition Days to help them acclimate to their new schools. In preparation for the shift to Hybrid Learning Mode for grades 6 - 12, the District is required to undergo facility inspections and meet numerous state requirements before bringing students back.

“This schedule has been created with that in mind. Families should be aware that these dates are being announced to allow for planning, and the District is optimistic the schedule can be kept, however a number of factors could make adjustments necessary. In the event that such a situation arises, announcements will be made.”

The news release stated parents with questions should contact their students’ school.
