Tesla Supercharger station in the works

CLAYTON — If you are wondering what is going on with the ditch alongside Clayton Ranch Market, it is a Tesla Supercharger station being installed. It should be finished before March.

A Tesla representative approached Ranch Market owner Brian Moore and proposed putting in a charging station on the market’s property. The closest charging stations are in Amarillo, Texas, and Trinidad, Colorado.

The Tesla company is trying to put charging stations for their vehicles within 200 miles of each other throughout the United States.

Depending on the make of the Tesla owned, charging can take 30 to 60 minutes, plenty of time for their owners to browse the aisles in Clayton Ranch Market while waiting.
