The News columnist honored

Wendel Sloan, longtime columnist for The Eastern New Mexico News, was honored Sunday night by New Mexico Press Women.

Sloan's book, "Kill a Moose for Jesus," placed second in the non-fiction book category of the NMPW communications contest.
