Drug take back day to be held Saturday

CLOVIS — The Curry County Health Council, in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Albuquerque district office, is holding a drug take back day Saturday.

The following locations will include drop-off points for unneeded or expired prescription medications:

• Roden Smith Pharmacy, 601 E. Llano Estacado Blvd., 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

• Walgreens Pharmacy, 700 E. 21st St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Plains Regional Medical Center Pharmacy, 2401 W. 21st St., 10 a.m.-noon

• Melrose city hall, 105 W. Ave. B, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Liquids, syringes and illegal drugs will not be accepted. Vaping devices and cartridges are accepted, provided the lithium batteries are removed.
