Roosevelt to begin road work

PORTALES — The Roosevelt County Road Department will begin work on South Roosevelt Road 4 Wednesday, according to a county release.

Work on the between South Roosevelt Roads AG and AI, is anticipated to take three weeks. The roadway is being enhanced to caliche from dirt.

Residents are asked to drive slow and watch out for heavy equipment and personnel in the work area.
