Chip seal work to start

PORTALES — The Roosevelt County Road Department will begin work Tuesday on South Roosevelt Road 6, according to a county release.

Work on the road between South Roosevelt Roads K and L is anticipated to take four weeks. The project, funded as part of the 20201 Local Government Road Fund, will enhance the portion of road from dirt to chip seal.

Residents are asked to drive slowly and watch out for equipment and workers.
