Texico schools to resume

TEXICO — Texico Municipal Schools will resume instruction Wednesday, following a water-related closure on Monday.

Students were dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Monday, according to a post on the district’s Facebook page, after one of the village’s water wells that supplies the campus was out of order.

The district canceled classes for Tuesday, citing no available timeline for repairs. A post around noon Tuesday confirmed Wednesday classes would resume as normal.
