CLOVIS — The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce and the Clovis Industrial Development Corporation are offering a virtual seminar Tuesday on hiring and keeping remote workers.
The 9 a.m. webinar is offered at no charge to local businesses, regardless of chamber membership, with registration at the chamber's website at clovisnm.org.
The webinar, in partnership with Andrea Corpening of Elite Business Performance, will cover how businesses can determine jobs and tasks that can be handled remotely, the pros and cons of employees versus independent contractors and how to find a reliable remote workforce.
Panelists will include Sandra Taylor-Sawyer of the Clovis Community College Small Business Development Center, Sara Wiest of Plateau and Cindy Bryan of Carr Riggs and Ingram.
