Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
CLOVIS - Clovis High School has scheduled its graduation for 2 p.m. today at Leon Williams Stadium.
Officials said 392 students are in the 2021 graduating class. This number is similar to the number of students who have graduated from Clovis in the recent past.
Tickets will be required to attend the ceremony. Each senior received eight tickets for guests, two of which have gold lettering. The gold lettering will allow those two ticketholders into The Rock if there is inclement weather. All guests planning to attend, including infants and toddlers, must have a ticket to enter the stadium.
The stadium gates will open to ticketed spectators at 1 p.m. All traffic will enter the campus on Purdue Street. The alley behind the CHS Lego Gym will be closed to traffic. Once the event is over, Purdue and 21st streets will be used to exit the campus.
Graduates will be bused to campus from three offsite locations - Hilltop Plaza, Marshall Middle School, and James Bickley Elementary School. Graduates need to arrive at the offsite location prior to 11:15 a.m. and will be transported to CHS.
The students will be placed 6 feet apart during the ceremony.
