Intersection closing for upgrades

PORTALES — Roosevelt County will close the intersection of South Roosevelt Roads 7 and S, beginning June 21, for upgrades.

The work, which will include concrete pouring, is anticipated to run through June 30. Detours will be in place to allow the concrete to properly cure, and motorists are asked to abide by all signage at the site. The county is contacting residents and businesses who would be most impacted by the work.
