Season tickets on sale now for ENMU

PORTALES — Season tickets are now on sale for the upcoming Greyhound football season, according to a release from Eastern New Mexico University’s athletics office.

The schedule includes six home games, beginning Sept. 2 against Central Washington.

“Our team is beyond excited to play football this fall,” Greyhound coach Tye Hiatt said in the release. “After missing out on the football season a year ago, I believe our team is looking forward to training camp and having the opportunity to play in front of our fans and community. Greyhound Stadium is one of the best venues in our region and we look forward to our home opener against Central Washington.”

Fans can choose general admission tickets for $25 or a reserved chair back ticket for $75 ($40 for ENMU faculty and staff). Reserved tickets are available while supplies last.

“We are so excited to watch Coach Hiatt’s debut and the football team he has assembled for our community. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone in the ENMU family to come together and enjoy the football game day experience. We want to make season tickets the backbone of our fans and that is why we have made it such an attractive price point for everyone,” Athletic Director Paul Weir said in the release.

Individual game tickets will be sold at a later date.

Greyhound football games are free to ENMU students with a student ID, military members (active duty, reserve, National Guard or veterans) and dependents with ID and children 8 or younger when accompanied by an adult.

The schedule includes three home games each in September and October. The Greyhounds host Adams State Sept. 11 and Texas A&M-Kingsville Sept. 18.

Homecoming will be Oct. 2 against Lincoln, followed two weeks later with Oct. 16 Wagon Wheel game against West Texas A&M and two weeks after that with an Oct. 30 battle against Angelo State.
