Base to host PFAS meeting

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE — The 27th Special Operations Wing at Cannon Air Force Base will host its third quarterly meeting to provide updates on actions to address per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) discovered in the groundwater surrounding the installation.

The 5 p.m. Sept. 15 meeting will be virtual at Zoom meeting ID 337 873 3806 with passcode 88101.

Environmental project managers from the Air Force Civil Engineer Center will review the status of the program and will answer questions from the public about the PFAS response.

The Zoom software will allow those attending to type questions into a chat box. All questions will be answered either during the meeting or in a transcript of meeting minutes.

A recording of the meeting will be available at cannon.af.mil/Environmental.
