Organizations holding 5K events

CLOVIS — A pair of local organizations are holding charity 5K events over the next few weeks, with the Clovis Portales Association of Realtors schedule for Sept. 11 and Mental Health Resources Oct. 9.

The CPAR event will take place at Hillcrest Park, with registration at the former pro shop. Registration is $35, with sign-in at 8:30 a.m. and the walk/run at 9 a.m. For registration details, find a local Realtor or email [email protected].

Mental Health Resources is holding its second 5K and first in person, with the inaugural event held virtually last year.

The event will begin at MRH’s office at 1621 Sutter Place and circle Greene Acres Park. A virtual offering will be available for those who cannot make it in person.

Registration is $20, and sponsorships are available for $100.
