Chamber seeks contestants

CLOVIS — The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce is seeking contestants and sponsors for the Retail Committee’s second annual Mr. and Miss Clovis Sparkle Contest, according to a chamber release.

Contestants ages 5-11 will fundraise through a combination of donations and sales of sponsor business gift cards, with proceeds going to purchasing lights for the holiday season. The top fundraising boy and girl will be crowned with the titles in a Dec. 2 ceremony, and all contestants will ride in the Dec. 4 Clovis MainStreet Christmas Lights Parade.

The entry deadline is 4 p.m. Oct. 15, with forms available at 105 E. Grand Ave. or online at clovisnm.org/sparkle.
