Contest being sponsored

CLOVIS — Curry County Youth Services is sponsoring a residential decorating contest and a yard sign sale in recognition of Red Ribbon Week, according to a county release.

The yard sale sign will run through Tuesday, while the decoration contest entry deadline is Oct. 25. Red Ribbon Week runs Oct. 23-31

Prizes for the decorating contest include a fire pit for first place, a family pass to Main Event and a gas card for second and a basket of board games, movies and snacks for third place. Anybody who purchases a yard sign will be entered into a raffle for $200 off a utility bill.
