Downtown Safe Trick or Treat – 4-5:30 p.m., at participating businesses in and around Portales downtown. Sponsored by the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce. Free 4x6 photos of costumed kids may be taken at Times Remembered Photography, 222 West Second St., Portales, for donation of two cans of food being collected for a local food pantry.

Zia Elite Gymnastics Spooky Night of Fun – 5-8 p.m., Hilltop Plaza, 2300 N. Main St., Suite 15, Clovis. Cost $10. One parent admitted free with any child under 5. Information: 575-935-9423

Clovis MainStreet Boos and Brews Costume Crawl – 5 p.m.-late, various Clovis locations. Limited to 21 and over; $20 in advance and $25 at the door. 5-8 p.m., pick up tickets at begin tasting at Hilltop Bottle Shop, 124 W. 22nd St., Clovis. Tickets include one beer each at Roosevelt Brewing Clovis Taproom, 515 N. Main St., from 5-11 p.m., and Levine’s Garden by Red Door, 414 N. Main St., from 6-11 p.m. Halloween trivia contest at Roosevelt at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.; costume contest at Levine’s at 10 p.m. Live music at Levine’s 8-10 p.m. Dinner specials at both locations. Birdies and Boos benefit golf tournament – 10 a.m. shotgun start, Colonial Park Golf Course, 1300 Colonial Parkway, Clovis. Four-person scramble; $340 per team; $85 per player; includes green fees, cart, tee prize, range balls, breakfast, lunch, and silent auction.
