CLOVIS — Construction work on the city’s effluent reuse pipeline will require a closure of the Mañana Boulevard/Thornton Street intersection beginning Monday, according to a city release.
Work from K. Barnett and Sons is anticipated to go through late November.
The intersection should reopen to eastbound and westbound traffic Thursday, but northbound and southbound lanes will remain closed through the length of the project.
Detours using Duckworth, Horn and Plaza avenues will be marked.
Work has already led to the closure of the intersections Thornton Street has with 21st Street and Llano Estacado Boulevard.
