SANTA FE — The Eastern New Mexico News picked up six awards at the annual New Mexico Press Association's convention last week in Santa Fe.
The awards included a sweep in the category of best supplement/special sections.
First place in the Weekly Class 2 category went to The News for its 2021 menu Guide.
The News also won second place in the category for its My Fuzzy Valentine section.
The News Graphic Artist Andrea Ramos earned second-place awards for color retail advertising and house advertisement.
The News Publisher David Stevens won first place for column writing and second place for obituary writing.
