TIme for fear of God to return to society

We have had the 10 Commandments guiding our society for centuries. The 10 are time-tested and reliable as guidelines in the affairs of men.

People who fear God gave them honor and added to them the words of Jesus: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Societies that live this way can produce the best quality of life and the most successful pursuit of happiness.

Then we have people like newspaper columnist Leonard Pitts who advocate a society where people fear neither God nor man. Where people feel free to violate laws because they blame others for their bad attitude and are not held accountable, where crimes will not be prosecuted, where criminals who steal and destroy what belongs to others will not be arrested.

This is the reason for looting and rioting and breaking into stores and stealing whatever their greed desires.

It is time to put the blame where it belongs. It is time to stop the ridiculous excuses for really bad behavior.

It’s time for the fear of God to be returned to society.

And if we can’t do that, then it’s time for the fear of the law to come back to town.
