The Volunteer Action Center, part of the United Way of Eastern New Mexico believes there are people worthy of the President’s Volunteer Service award in eastern New Mexico.
Casey Peacock, coordinator for the UWENM’s Volunteer Action Center says the President’s Volunteer Service Award is the premier service award program.
There are three levels of awards in the program: Bronze, silver and gold.
Peacock writes in a news release that the application period for the awards is open until March 14th.
