Friday

• Early Childhood Education & Care Department listening session: 12:30 p.m. 2 p.m. at ENMRSH Early Childhood Services, 2700 E. Seventh St., Clovis. (nmececd.org) . Department Secretary Elizabeth Groginsky and other staff from the agency’s leadership team will host the session. More information: nmececd.org. Our “Spring Tour” is part of our commitment to show up in the communities we serve, learn from people’s lived experiences, and use that knowledge to build programs and policies that meet the unique needs of New Mexicans across the state. We’re hosting a listening session with local early childhood stakeholders from 12:30-2 p.m. at ENMRSH Early Childhood Services (2700 East 7th Street in Clovis)

• Preschool-Kindergarten Registration Kickoff Day for children 3 to 5 years of age enrolling in Clovis Municipal Schools: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring birth certificate, shot records, proof of address. Event to be held at Los Ninos, 3301 Thornton. Community outreach demonstrations, materials and messages welcome.

• Free tax preparation with AARP – 1-4 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays through April 13 (except for March 15-16), Room 137, ENMU College of Business, Portales. • New Mexico Department of Health Covid-19 vaccine registration — Sign up to receive Covid-19 vaccine as it becomes available. Online registration at https://cvvaccine.nmhealth.org/. Individuals who have questions or would like support with the registration process--including New Mexicans who do not have internet access--may dial 1-855-600-3453, press option 0 for vaccine questions, and then option 4 for tech support.

• Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) regular distributions: Clovis: 9:30-11:30 a.m. or until supplies run out Tuesday-Thursday, 2217 E. Brady; clients may visit two times a month. Portales: 9-11:30 a.m. or until supplies run out
