Planned power outage for Fort Sumner tonight

A planned power outage is set for 1 a.m. Thursday in Fort Sumner.

Farmers Electric Cooperative says the planned outage for their Fort Sumner area customers will last about 15 minutes.

“Barring any unexpected delays, power should be restored to normal operation by 1:15 a.m.,” according to a notice from FEC.

FEC reports the outage is being taken for system maintenance and upgrades. The co-op invites anyone with questions about the planned outage to call them at 1-800-445-8541 during regular business hours.
