Houser reports trademark infringement issues with the nearly identical Greyhound Lines, Inc. logo, necessitated the phasing out of ENMU's Running Greyhound logo.
Eastern New Mexico University has a new logo that is being phased in.
John Houser, Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications, reports in an email that the new logo is called "our legacy primary mark, a way to honor our past while moving us into a brighter future."
The new ENM Mark adorned the university's letterman jackets and sweaters for many years until it was discontinued a some time ago.
