Military career virtual event set for April 27

Young people interested in becoming an officer in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, Merchant Marines or Coast Guard have an opportunity to join representatives from service academies, ROTC programs and congressional offices to learn about the application and nomination processes.

The virtual event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. The content will be recorded and posted to congressional staff pages for viewing later.

At the event, you will be able to engage with members of the New Mexico congressional delegation as well as the U.S. Military Academy at West Point (Army); the U.S. Naval Academy (Navy and Marine Corps); the U.S. Air Force Academy (Air and Space Force); the U.S. Coast Guard Academy; the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy; and the Reserve Officers Training Corps.
