Police investigating one-car crash

CLOVIS – Police are investigating a one-car crash Saturday afternoon that left a 60-year-old woman dead.

Police declined to identify the victim, but family and friends identified her as Maria Sisneros of Portales.

According to a police news release:

• The accident occurred at 2:17 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Brady Avenue.

• The vehicle, a black Dodge car, drove through a pipe fence, drove through a parking lot, became airborne, struck another pipe fence and overturned, settling on its roof.

• The Clovis Police Crash Team is investigating the incident.
