ENMU summer camp space still available

Eastern New Mexico University's summer camps, which are held on various dates from June to July, are now in full swing.

Some space is still available for participants to sign-up. Inquiries are directed to [email protected].

The summer camps program "gives an opportunity for Eastern New Mexico University coaches and student athletes to instruct local youth and pass on their knowledge and skills on basketball courts to youth," said Cameron Brennan, ENMU Assistant Sports Information Director. These camps are run by the ENMU Athletic Department and they are well-attended. The recent basketball camp was at full capacity.

The camps are designed for youth from kindergarten to eighth grade, to include some at the high school-level as well, Brennan said.

"Attending camps is an opportunity for students to be active and engaged with the local community through sports," he said.

The basketball and volleyball camps are held in ENMU's Greyhound Arena and the soccer camps take place at the Greyhound Stadium in the mornings and in the afternoons at the greyhound arena gym, he said. The football and soccer camps take place at the university's football stadium.
