Grehlon Easter signs with ENMU men's basketball

PORTALES — Grehlon Easter of Little Rock, Ark. is the newest member of the Eastern New Mexico Men’s Basketball squad according to Head Coach Brent Owen.

Easter comes to Portales after spending two seasons at the Division I California State University - Bakersfield. In two seasons with the Roadrunners, Easter appeared in 43 games and totaled 113 points with 47 rebounds.

“Grehlon is a proven college player as he led his 25-win junior college team in scoring before spending time as a starter at the Division I level,” Owen said.

Prior to CSU-Bakersfield Easter was at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Ks., averaging 15 points per game on 43% shooting from the field.

Easter becomes the fifth signing of the 2022 class for ENMU Basketball, joining Jose Murillo, Erasmo Carreon, Dwayne Chester, and Malique Oates.

Owen and his staff completed their first season in 2021-22 after the Hounds missed out on the 2020-21 season.
