While Clovis police detectives continue to investigate a June 25 “shots fired” incident in the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. where an estimated 30 rounds were fired, shots fired reports are still periodically being phoned into police.
Clovis police Lieutenant Trevor Thron reports officers were called to the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Thursday around 1:30 a.m. in reference to two males seen carrying assault rifles.
While the officers were on the scene they heard shots being fired somewhere in the area, according to Thron. No one was located, according to the report.
