ENMU adds one to women's basketball staff

PORTALES — Martin Pazanin has joined the Eastern New Mexico Women’s Basketball staff ahead of the 2022-23 season according to Meghan De los Reyes, Women’s Basketball head coach.

“Martin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program,” De los Reyes said. “He has coached for over thirteen years at various levels and he has contributed to each team’s success.”

Pazanin comes to Portales after serving as the Director of Basketball Operations for Loyola Marymount University Women’s Basketball program in Los Angeles, Cal. In his role with the Lions, Pazanin held several responsibilities including the creation and design of offensive sets and system. Additionally, Pazanin oversaw game scheduling, practice planning, player evaluations, and created individual player development plans.

“I am beyond excited for the opportunity to be an assistant for ENMU Women’s Basketball program.” Pazanin said. “Coach De los Reyes is an exceptional leader whose passion is inspiring.”

Pazanin earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from Bradley University in Peoria, Il. graduating in 2009.
