1967: Clovis police were looking into vandalism, break-ins and other relatively minor crimes, according to police reports summarized by the Clovis News-Journal.

A man at 101 Fourth St. reported someone broke his plate-glass window while a man at 812 W. Fourth St. reported rocks had broken five windows. Officials said it would cost about $30 to replace the five windows.

A break-in happened at Aztec Bowl, where a small electric motor valued at $40 had been taken.

Also a Portales woman reported someone hit her parked car outside a Clovis restaurant, causing an estimated $50 in damage, and two Clovis residents reported they had lost their wallets.
