Rain dampens Curry fair attendance

CLOVIS -- The blessed rain came down on Saturday and most of eastern New Mexico rejoiced. But it “pretty much shut things down” on Saturday night, dropping attendance for the Curry County Fair by about 8,000 from a year ago.
