Clovis cannabis sales top $1 million

New Mexico’s Cannabis Control Division of the Regulation and Licensing Department released cannabis sales figures for September Friday.

Licensed retailers in the state sold over $39 million in adult-use and medical cannabis combined. Total sales have hovered around the $40 million mark for months.

The state’s population centers of Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces and Hobbs saw the highest sales numbers, with Sunland Park also posting high numbers, rounding out the top five.

Eastern New Mexico sales reports for September: Clovis, $1.12 million; Portales, $313,000; Tucumcari, $306,000: Clayton, $173,000; Tatum, $94,000; Texico, $73,000; Fort Sumner, $39,000; Lovington, $35,000 and Logan, $14,000.
