A full scale emergency exercise is scheduled for the Clovis railyard Wednesday.
Dan Heerding, Director of Clovis' Office of Emergency Management issued a press release Monday about the event.
Heerding spoke at Thursday's city commission meeting about the event set for Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the vicinity of the BNSF railyard near the Hull Street overpass.
In his press release Heerding describes the event as involving the BNSF Railroad, Clovis Fire Department, Clovis Police Department and responders from Cannon AFB.
