ENMU choirs to perform across region

PORTALES – The Eastern New Mexico University Chamber Singers and Swanee Singers will be on tour from Nov. 13 through Nov. 16 to promote the ENMU vocal program.

According to a news release from ENMU's marketing and communications department, tour dates and locations are: Tydings Auditorium in Hobbs Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. and Carlsbad First United Methodist Church Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.

The Chamber Singers and Swanee Singers will also be performing at the following schools: Carlsbad and Carlsbad Early College high schools on Nov. 14; Monahans, Seminole and Levelland high schools in Texas on Nov. 15 and in New Mexico at Clovis high school also on Nov. 15.

Director of choral activities at ENMU, Jason Paulk said, "I'm really looking forward to our interactions and collaborations with so many great school choir programs and directors."

Some of the performances on the tour will include choral groups from some of the schools.
