CLOVIS – Eight New Mexico area high school basketball games scheduled for Tuesday night, including Clovis High’s District 4-5A matchups against Carlsbad, were postponed due to Monday night’s snowfall.
CHS athletic director Lonnie Baca said Tuesday morning that a new date for the games – boys here, girls at Carlsbad – will be determined later in the week.
Also postponed on Tuesday were doubleheaders sending Melrose to Grady in District 6-1A, Elida to Gateway Christian in District 4-1A and Floyd to Hondo in non-district play. The Floyd-Hondo contests have been reset for Feb. 10, while makeup dates for the others will be forthcoming.
