All clear at two Clovis schools after secure modes due to threats

Two area middle schools are back to normal after an "all clear" was issued after the schools responded to a “potential threat” Friday, according to a release from both.

Gattis Middle School and Yucca Middle School were placed in Secure & Teach, Gattis just after 11 a.m. and Yucca right at noon.

After 12:30 p.m. Friday Clovis Municipal Schools modified the two schools modes to "Secure and Move."

After 1 p.m. the "all clear" notice was given for both schools.
