ENMU hosting art camp in June

Students from third grade to seniors in high school are invited to participate in Eastern New Mexico University’s (ENMU) inclusive art camp, “Summer by Design.”

The camp will run June 12 through June 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the ENMU Art and Anthropology Building (AAB) in Portales.

According to a news release from ENMU and Clovis Municipal Schools, Participating elementary and middle school students receive instruction from advanced university art students and public school art educators.

The participating high school students will receive instruction from university professors.

There are two price options for Summer by Design according to the release.

• $175 for the day camp only. The cost includes all instruction, art supplies, activities, lunch, and a t-shirt.

• $350 for residence hall attendance for 9th to 12th graders only. The cost includes all instruction, art supplies, activities, meals, t-shirt, and residence hall – a four-night stay – from June 11 to June 15.
