Mayor to hand out key to the city at next meeting

Clovis Mayor Mike Morris will be passing out “Keys to the City” at Thursday’s regular meeting of the Clovis city commission according to the meeting’s agenda.

The keys will be going to Cannon Air Force Base’s Special Operations Wing Commander Colonel Terence G. Taylor and Wing Command Chief Master Sergeant Kristina Montgomery.

Another item on the meeting agenda is a design presentation for the proposed new airport terminal by Clovis Regional Airport Director Amanda Brungart.

The commission meeting will begin at 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

It will be preceded by an Executive Session at 4:45 p.m., where the only topic of discussion will be the acquisition or disposal of real property according to the agenda.
