Local radio personality changing stations

A long-time area radio announcer is moving to another area radio station.

Terri Chavez will be joining KSMX Morning Show Host Seth Daniell for the new “Mix Mornings with Seth and Terri” starting Sept. 18 Daniell said.

“I’m extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Terri again. We are both passionate about our community and this new show will be a great platform to serve the community and the people we love,” Daniell said.

Daniell and Chavez worked together at 99.9 FM KTQM before Daniell moved to 107.5.

Chavez’s move to KSMX, 107.5 FM, follows an 11-year stint as morning air talent at KTQM, which was Chavez’s first radio job.

Daniell who, in addition to being morning radio personality, is also production manager for KSMX, Big 101.5, KSEL 105.9 FM and KSEL AM 1450, all owned by Global 1 Media.
